We’re thrilled to share exciting news from our recent study with Tan Tock Seng Hospital (TTSH) as part of Kinexcs’ mission to enhance recovery for patients undergoing Total Knee Replacement (TKR) surgery. This study marks a major step forward in our goal to make rehabilitation more effective, engaging, and patient-friendly.
Study Highlights: Gamified Recovery for Better Engagement
The KIMIA Recover platform is designed to make TKR recovery motivating through gamified, interactive exercises. In partnership with TTSH, we created and tested a program specifically aimed at helping patients stick to their recovery routines at home, where support is most needed.
- Engagement and Satisfaction: Our pilot study involved 10 patients who rated the experience an impressive 4.2 out of 5. Patients responded well to the engaging exercises, showing strong participation and enjoyment.
What’s Next?
With promising feedback from this initial study, we are preparing for a Randomized Controlled Trial (RCT) to rigorously evaluate KIMIA Recover’s impact on TKR recovery. Stay tuned for insights from this upcoming study as we continue advancing effective, home-based rehabilitation for patients.
The successful TTSH study reflects Kinexcs’ commitment to healthcare innovation, making recovery not only possible but also enjoyable. We look forward to sharing more developments as we bring KIMIA Recover to more patients and hospitals.
